NBC ready to be purchased by Comcast

It looks like the end is near for broadcasting pioneer network NBC--or at least as we know it. After years of dominance of the free broadcast airwaves, NBC's struggles to compete with other networks plus an ever-increasing array of cable networks, has made it ripe for takeover.
